At Empower 1, we believe that pouring into a young person’s life, providing that one on one involvement, by giving them the support and encouragement they need will open them up to experiencing a whole new world and learning new things about themselves first and foremost, acknowledging and understanding their identity and purity in Christ and holistically giving them the space to focus on their emotional and mental stability which will, in turn, help them make good choices regarding their physical health, education, relationships, and personal goals in life.  A typical mentee in one of our programs could include:

• Abused and neglected youth

• Runaways

• High-risk youth
