The Project Welcome Home program allows low-income/homeless families to enjoy clean, stable housing for up to 5 years while they work towards home ownership.  This project seeks to use the restoration of single family homes as a launching pad for community programming, neighborhood revitalization and individual outreach.  Each program family will participate in:

• Intensive case management

• Spiritual development/Christian mentorship

• Financial literacy programming

• Education/job training for heads of household to increase earning potential

• Life skills classes

All activities are aimed at self-determination and self-sufficiency.  As a beneficiary of our program, we desire to bring a sense of permanence, stability, and empowerment back to the family unit because at Empower 1 we believe that families truly do matter.  They are the backbone by which we are guided in life and are inspired to reach great heights.  Our FOCUS for your GREATNESS relies on 3 key components:
